How to Buy a Home?

1. Figure out how much home you can afford. Consider the equity / down payment, mortgage, cost of title, insurance and taxes.

2. Decide where you want to live. Think about your commute to work, schools, and neighborhoods.

3. Think about what kind of home you want. Do you want a newer home that requires little or no remodeling? Would you prefer an older home with character that might require some fix-up work? one story or two? Are you interested in a detached or townhouse?

4. Start shopping for homes to see what the market is like. The more homes you look at, the better idea you will have of what you can afford and what you do and don’t like.

5. Hire a real estate agent like CaviteHomes, Expert on First Time Home Buyers to represent you in buying a home.

6. Decide on a Lender, be it Pag-ibig, Bank or In-House, and get pre-qualified or pre-approved for a home Loan.

7. Find the perfect home for you and make a Reservation.

8. After a month from reservation, make the first equity / down payment. Submission of required documents. The Developer will be the one to process it.

9. After payment of equity / down payment and approval of loan, hire an inspector to make sure the home is up to code and not in need of any repairs.

10. When you deemed the unit is in Good Condition, sign the acceptance form. MOVE IN!
