Is Lancaster flood prone? would probably be the most frequently ask question by a potential first time home buyer. And rightly so, because, who would want to live in a flood prone area.
First of all, before we look into, Is Lancaster flood prone? a brief Summary regarding the subdivision development:
One of the biggest development projects that is nearest to Metro Manila is Lancaster New City in Cavite. It’s formerly known as Lancaster Estates.
It has undergone a major expansion to over 1,700 hectares of land. Thus, the name changes to Lancaster New City.
Lancaster Cavite House and Lot offer residences not only with value for money homes, but complete with what Family needs. Like school, amenities, BPO, church and efficient transport system.
Finally, Lancaster New City Cavite is strategically located just 22 kms to Mall of Asia via CAVITEX. Its near Aseana City, one of the fastest growing property developments in Pasay.
Due to the upcoming LRT Expansion and Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX), investing and living in Lancaster New City will surely be so much more rewarding.
Now, to answer the question, Is Lancaster Flood Prone?
A reputable website that shows flood prone areas in the Philippines, Lipad-fmc.dream.opd.edu.ph has this to show about Lancaster:

The part where the houses of Lancaster New City are located is marked with Green. Most noteworthy, if the area is flood prone, it will have yellow, orange or red highlights.

In addition, the photo above shows the elevation, above sea level of General Trias Cavite and the city of Navotas. Encircled in red are the difference in elevation of the 2 cities.
Furthermore, another website, baseportal.com, enumerates the flood prone areas in Cavite. Imus and Gen Trias where the houses of Lancaster is located is not found in the list.
